The chance to make someone’s portrait is a chance to tell something of their story.
A portrait may stand as a record of an event or how the person feels at a particular moment - their pride & joy or even concern & sorrow. It may be intended for them personally, or as a record for those near and dear to them, or as a means of telling a part of their life story.
