How Many Elephants?
The elephant conservation charity “How Many Elephants?” has done fantastic work supporting anti-poaching initiatives in southern Africa. It draws attention to the troubling fact that 96 elephants are, on average, killed by poachers every day.
I was able to support the charity at a gala event held at the Royal Geographical Society in 2019. I provided framed photographs of elephants that were auctioned, contributing to the £20,000 raised on that night. Elephant images presented as postcards have continued to raise money for the charity and the causes it supports.
The adventurer and conservationist, Holly Budge, founded the charity “How Many Elephants” to support elephant conservation and anti-poaching measures in Africa.
Holly drew together friends and supporters from the arts and travel industries in a fund raising event at the Royal Geographical Society in London in 2019
